Background information

Alexander has gained significant experience advising on complex corporate and financial transactions, where he represented various parties, including buyers and sellers, shareholders and management, borrowers and financial organizations. Mr. Nadmitov also regularly represents different parties in litigation and international arbitration matters.

Alexander specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements and joint ventures, finance transactions, private equity and venture capital, competition law, litigation and international arbitration matters.

Prior to establishing the Firm, Mr. Nadmitov was a partner with a Russian law firm. Before that Alexander worked as an associate in corporate, finance and dispute resolution and dispute resolution departments of leading international law firms, then began his legal career as an associate in a litigation department of a Russian law firm.

In December 2015 Alexander was elected as the President of Harvard Club of Russia, and also he serves as a secretary to the Oxford University Society of Russia.

Alexander is a senior research fellow at the Institute for Law and Development established under the aegis of the Skolkovo Fund and the National Research University Higher School of Economics and also teaches Financial Transactions course at the Faculty of Law of the Higher School of Economics.  Alexander also teaches a course on WTO law at Russian Foreign Trade Academy and regularly appears as a judge of the international contest “Model WTO”, which is held under the auspices of Russian Foreign Trade Academy.
